Post 1 in 8 strokes is preceded by 'warning stroke' (Topix)

ST. PAUL, Minn. - One out of every eight strokes is preceded by a "warning stroke," which is a transient ischemic attack or mild stroke, according to research published in the September 29, 2009, print issue of Neurology , the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology.
