So relieved to hear from you Abbie. I had gone across to the RSD forum looking for you yesterday and saw your posts on Cake's very sad thread.

I started to write so I could keep a track on my thoughts. This particular Lupus flare has turned my life on its head. Although I am pretty content with this enforced solitude, I have a constant dialogue going on within myself. So I thought I'd write it all down.

Hi all...

Just wanted to buzz in and say hi...

I am still here... existing... mostly in a lurking mode...

I am feeling like I will never feel better... I keep feeling worse... I have lost me.

Please know that even though I may not talk much.. I am reading and keeping up with all the goings on here.

I forgot...

I once again have a new Pdoc... last one refused to see children so they let him go... the new one starts this week.. I think.

This one is a male too...

I'm a little frustrated about the last one and hope this new one listens... I told the last one that I didn't believe my medicines were still working and what I have been feeling... he just said he would talk to my Tdoc about things to help me---which I found out he did not do... and wrote scripts for the exact same medicine and dosages...

Write a list of three or four things that you really need from him:
1. ask if he will talk to tdoc
2. ask about emergency phone call and emergency appt. policy
3.
4.

Also bring in a list of your current meds. Or better yet, throw them in a huge purse bring the purse with you.
