Default I don't think the 'roids are lasting very long...

Sheesh...I'm already having a bit of trouble going up and down the stairs, and my legs hurt during the night, which meant I had to take some zanaflex. I had hoped that the positive effects would last through my Hawaii vacation...now I am worried about what kind of damper it'll put on our activities.
Good thing I'm chubby-I'll float in the ocean, which won't take much energy At least that's something I can do!!

After I had the IVSM for my eyes last summer, I was disappointed that the only improvement that I had was the vision problem going away within a week or two. I was hoping things would improve a ton and that I would have a nice long remission...

I dont think the IVSM did much for me last year. I think I had more exacerbations this year after doing the steroids than I did in the two years before that. MS sucks.

This sucks Debbie. Do you think the doc would be open to giving you a oral steroid while on vacation? Jim used to take Prednisone I think when IV steroid didn't work as long.

Sorry Debbi, 'roids are very fickle.

I'm going to try not to feel too sorry for you, since you're going to Hawaii.

Fine, Sal, be that way...oh, yeah, I'm going to be in Hawaii, aren't I?

I hate oral roids...the headache is so much worse that the IV headache I get...I'm sure he'd be open to it, but frankly, I'm not...I'll just have to watch my heat level, and make sure I rest...I do have a tendency to overdo it when I work out there...then the floor drops, as Trish calls it, and the day is ruined.
Thanks for all the advice, and snarky remarks...I'll have our small laptop with us, so I'll be able to keep up with all of you crazy peeps!!
