Thumbs down Deep Freeze Indiana~

Hello, forgive me for complaining, but it just keeps getting colder and I am sick of it. it is -03 degrees this morning, with a chill factor of -12 outside. I am going to get my hair done, it might give me a pick me up. Snow is moving in tonight and again Tuesday. I could S C R E E M! I want out of this deep freeze.

I have no idea how my weight is doing. I eat to survive. LOL I got some digital scales at Goodwill and they said when I brought them home that my weight was about 5 pounds lighter than I thought. I have a Dr. appointment Monday, so we will see if they are correct or not.

Nancy, I might take you up on that offer to come for the winter. This year isn't over yet, you know! LOL They were suppose to have school today for the first time this week, with a two hr. delay.

I know exactly how you feel Billie....I made myself get out of this house yesterday because I had cabin fever so bad....I just wandered around Walmart for hours, then drove across the street and wandered around Meijers. Talked to strangers....at least it was a change of scenery!!

The poor birds look cold this morning and I'm running low on birdseed...
At least we didn't get anymore snow last night. Unless they have changed the forecast...we might get a warm up late next week. ~sigh

Hi Bizi, Billie, and Alffie.

Bizi, the Valentine cake sounds good.

Billie, spring won't be too far off hopefully.

Alffie, glad you got out some.

My care needs anti-freeze so I need to go get some and figure out how to put it in.

Heart Hi befuddled2~

Don't take my word for it, but I think you put anti-freeze in the raditor where you have water. My husband use to say he put all anti freeze in, because of the air conditioner in the summer. I hope someone that has a husband can come in & tell you for sure tho.

It good to see you posting. Is the computer working ok now? I wonder where Gaye is today? Gaye, you can't hide, we see you!

Hi Billie,

One of my girlfriends told me where to put the anti-freeze.

Gaye, where are you?

All I did today was take my trash out. I haven't been eating good either. My nerves have been shattered lately and all the wrong foods are being forced fed into me.

Hello all, no idea how I am doing on the weight loss as I am not going near my scales today! I have had the worst headache for a week now and I am getting very very tired of it. I know my neck has been aggravatted because of the surgery on monday but I sure thought it would tone down by today. I was actually in tears this morning it hurt so bad. Hubby was home so I didn't have to drive the boy to school so that was nice.

Tonight I am taking it easy--so what else is new-- hubby is at work and the kids are over at their friends houses. I will try not to drown my sorrow in ice cream though. I was supposed to go to my nieces graduation party tomorrow but now I just don't know. It is a big one as she is getting her masters degree. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Sorry for another day of whining...Sue

I work on our cars with hubby {he is a mechanic and all around fixer upper guy}

For the anti freeze- did you get the "ready to use" or the concentrated? If Concentrated follow the mixing directions.

Most cars now have a holding/ overflow tank that you pour it into.
there should be a line or mark about halfway on it- you don't want to overfill it.

{ be sure you aren't putting it in the wiper/squirter water tank }

If it takes a lot to fill it to the line, leave the cap off and run the car to see if the level goes down more then top it back up to the line and put the cap on.

Thank you Jo for the help with my anti-freeze. I'll go out and get some tomorrow.

Sue, I hope you get some relief from the pain.
