Workers Comp to SSDI

Quick question. Is it OK to file for SSDI while recieving workers comp benefits? If it is OK do you loose your workers comp benefits when you file? Thanks.

I received WC benefits for the first 2 years I was getting SSDI.

You should remember that SSDI limits yourall of your disability income (family benefit from SSDI plus LTD or WC) to 80% of your pre disability salary. In my case, that means I collect $70 less each month and my 2 sons collect $384 less each month than we 'should' be getting because our SSDI is offest by some of the WC. Of course, I haven't been getting WC since December '09 and I can't get SSA to update their records........
