Default Morning Tremors?

Over the years I have had varying degrees of tremors, but this one is new. It happens right when I first wake up. If I try to reach for my glasses or something while I am still groggy, my tremor is huge. It is not just my hand and fingers, either. It’s my whole arm. Once I stretch and get moving around a bit it returns to its normal every day tremor. Anybody else?

I find that before my brain is fully awake and in sinc with my body, so to speak, anything can happen and usually does..including tremours.

For instance, when I put my right foot(my strong side) down, it tremors, when putting my left food(my weak side) down, it slides.

DH used to slap himself on the butt and say, "brain's in gear".

Feel well.

My tremors are always worse in the morning. I get them in my arms and legs. Some days are better than others. I use a glass with a lid on it to prevent spills as there is nothing worse that laying in bed thirsty, grabbing the glass of water from my nightstand, and the tremors cause water to spill all over. In the summer it's not so bad but in winter, that water can be cold. So now I use an adult sippy cup.

Like Sally, getting the legs going is tough on bad days. Since my tremors are intention tremors, I'm fine when I am still or at rest, but once I try to make a purposeful movement things go crazy. So getting out of bed takes some time as does anything else I do on those bad mornings.

Why mornings are tough sometimes, I don't know. But for me they have become my toughest time of day.

My work schedule can be pretty crazy and if I'm not able to get more than 5 hours sleep in a night I wake with tremors that like others have said do go away within an hour or so of getting up and rolling. I pray it doesn't start to happen more often or last longer.

I wake up with them nearly every morning. I also get what I call 'interior tremors' every single time I wake up. It feels like my insides are kind of shaking. It's hard to explain so I'm gonna shut up now .
