Today is our last day of this great weather -- sunny and low 50s. I am sitting in my office and ready for class today and tomorrow. I guess I could start prepping for Thursday. Or I could go play word with friends. I have become slightly addicted.

Good morning, Everyone!

No big plans for the day. I need to straighten up a bit and that will be the extent of it.

The weather here is perfect, much like what Pam & Kelly are experiencing. Sunny and perfect temps in the 60s. I love it. I've been walking every afternoon as the mornings can be a little chilly at 30s and 40s. So, I go when it warms up some.

Barb - I hope you had a good 1st day back and that you are feeling better. Traveling does take a lot out of you. It always takes me a couple of days to recup from traveling.

Debbie - Sorry to hear about DS's dog. How sad and expensive!!! I am glad the dog is doing well.

Sally - Glad your appt went well. How did your new seat work? Do you like it now that you got to finally use it?

Hi Everyone else! Thinking of you as well.

Have a great day!

Yes Trish, new seat is working perfectly and I love it. Now all I need is the minivan scooter lift working and I'll be set to go!!!...Update: He was just here and replaced the fuses and now it works too!!!!

Oh 2K2Cs, I wasn't hearing things, just a year late. It even said that Atlanta was closed...lol...I remember now.. Thanks.

I'm feeling a bit of the, after the holiday, hospital, Turney seat excitement, Docter Appt. and general party fun, blues. Oh and another birthday for me.

Does anyone live close enough to me to be my designated driver? You know, Drive Miss Sally..

Sally, the airport was probably closed due to the fog. There was almost no visibility this morning. It's been in the 50's for lows and the high 60's for highs so no snow here. Give us another month.......then we'll probably have some!

Hi all...my dear NT friends...mid 50s here today in northern Illinois

Sal...I'm glad you celebrated another bday...I love having you in my life, virtual or otherwise...

Barb...you and my DH..he's got about 20 games going...Sal, join us!! I'll pm you my name on words with friends...if I can figure it out..

Took MIL to the eye specialist this morning...her eye was draining and painful. They fit her in immediately, since it was the eye she had a retinal hole. It turns out it was a couple of lashes turned down and scratching her cornea. Doc tweezed them out, put a patch on, and sent us home. We see him in a week to make sure it is healed.

DH and I bought them a room humidifier since their skin is so dry. Can she fill it and put the water canister in correctly? Noooo....sheesh... We have asked the staff to do it, but of course MIL insists on doing it herself. AAARRRRGGGGHHH....frustrations dealing with Alz patients...

I have been suffering mightily from spasticity and the related pain, which of course leads to fatigue. I'm spent most days, although I push through it a few times a week to get a workout in. But I feel as if I am losing the MS battle lately.

Hi Everyone!

Once again, no plans for today. Gosh, I hate saying that every day, but it's true. What a dull life. Both of my girls are coming over for dinner tonight and I'm so happy about that. I miss having my girls around more. Although, I do feel fortunate that we live in the same town.

I do plan on working on a painting today. I just have a few final touches to do and it will be done.

I hope you all have a great day!

Nasty weather has been moving through ahead of a cold front... It started raining heavy around 1am. Thankfully the worst storm stayed east of my house and we still have power. Those on the east side of our county were hit with hail and lost power. I just chatted with a friend in Knoxville, TN and it is now moving through that area.

I took a nap this a.m. and then DH called to let me know how bad the weather was at his work site. Heavy rain and hail were pounding the wall of windows in his office so hard he was going to go to the building basement!

After this front moved through, I am feeling some better. The fatigue is not as great as it had been the last few days.

Hi everybody! We've had a nasty weather day, slippery roads, and the scanner chattering away the last couple of hours--trucks that can't make it up hills, etc. Glad we don't have to go anywhere!

My DSL modem came today, yayyyyy! My techie son is going to get me all set up in the next few days. When I went out to get the package, I found another package on my step. That one was a homemade poppyseed bread thing with cinnamon (mm) and a piece of nice chocolate--a gift from friends who must have come and gone in a helicopter. We never heard them, and neither did the cats!

I managed to do "my" laundry. My husband does towels, etc. twice a week, and I do three loads on Thursday. Sometimes he takes mine out of the dryer, brings it upstairs and folds it (after a fashion). PLUS I cut some toenails...what a workout THAT is!

Now we're settling in, Ma and Pa Kettle, to watch the news and have our snacks. Hope the power doesn't go out. We're looking at some potential sleet and freezing rain.

B2Y, I ust love reading your updates. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

I'm waiting for DS24 to get here and take me to the grocery store. I have to get a bunch of stuff. I appreciate his help so much.

DS28 called today to see if I could go to lunch with him on Saturday. His GF is going out of town this weekend.....so he'll be all on his own.

The northern most counties of GA are supposed to get snow tonight. My area is not included but we're right on the edge of it. I think it's going to get into the 20's tonight. Brrrrr!
