Default Let's take a poll of what C/L is working and what isn't

Having gotten some very good answers to my last posts, it would appear that it would be helpful if every one here would weigh in on their meds. Specifically, could we take a poll of carbidopa levodopa? If you are taking this, are you using a brand name or a generic. If brand name, who makes it? If generic, who is making it? What strength? How has it been working for you over the past 6 months?

I am taking C/L 25-100 by TEVA - just got a bad batch a week ago.

I was dx 2004, symptomatic since 2002.
TEVA seems to be problematic for lots of PWP..As a matter of fact, I took it after I was newly Dx-ed, and it did nothing..Mirapex worked better
..I started brand name Sinemet in 2006, 25/100 which worked well, but a couple of years later I found that Sinemet CR 50/200 generic manufactured by Mylan worked better..I couldnt get brand name CR, because it was on back order at every pharmacy I went to..The about 2 1/2 years ago it stopped working..So I was Rx-ed TEVA 25/100 X 6 per day..Every day was a roll of the dice..on..off..on..off..Successful dose..failed dose, etc..Then tried Comtan with TEVA C/L..on..off..on..off, dyskinesia, dystonia..unpredictable and miserable

Then tried Stalevo 200 mg x 3 daily 2 years ago..Problem solved

I take the generic 25/100. TEVA makes me sick. The other one with the big "R" on it works great. Unlucky me got the TEVA again, and I don't feel right. It's also very crumbly too. I wonder if this makes a difference.

I take a total of 12 - 25/100 and one purple-blue CR 50/200 at night with my last C/L dose. This used to hold me through, but not anymore. I now have dystonia again in my feet during the wee hours of the morning.
