Default Eye Stroke

Has anyone ever had an eye stroke to one eye? Has your vision come back to normal or do you have residual effects like I do.

Yes, I had a stroke in my left eye. It was located in the
right branch vein in the retina.

By the time I had the angiogram, it was healing...and the report said "minimal ischemia".

This can happen from a sustained high blood pressure attack,
or from high homocysteine levels in the blood which irritate blood vessels and cause clots.

Mine cleared in about 6mos. I had a shadow in my day vision, and a large hole in my night vision. I had pain in my eye for a few days. The clot forced blood to leak out into my central vision and it took months to clear. But it did.
I've had no further problems, and this happened over 10 yrs ago.
I take my blood pressure medications faithfully now.
