Default My dream

The other night I had a really wonderful dream. Since a joy shared is a joy doubled, let’s share our good, whacky, funny dreams.

I dreamed that aliens had invaded earth. They wanted to be friendly with us, so they gave humankind some gifts. The best one they gave us was the ability to fly, or more specifically we could float up in the air. Another one was that, whenever we laughed, rainbows would come out of our mouths. And we could also see music as it drifted through the air. I woke up with a smile on my face.

What was your dream?

Marion, were you eating Skittles before bedtime!?

I seldom remember my dreams now. The one's I do remember, always are about my dad. He passed away in 1996 and I usually see him riding as a passenger with me or my brothers (who are truck drivers). What's funny, my brothers have had similar dreams.

I've been having really strange dreams lately. I've tried to remember what I've eaten before going to sleep....or anything new I'm taking.....but there isn't anything really different. Not sure where these dreams are coming from.

Last night I dreamed I was driving and got lost. Ended up waaaay off the beaten path and tried to call my Mom. Some stranger answered the phone and said I had the wrong number. I called back and a lady told me that she (my mother) had not lived there for years! Next thing I knew I was in a hardware store buying a garden hose!

I always have strange dreams. Last night I was at a job working and there were three of us trying out for a Pepsi video contest. I studied and practiced and won the contest even though I never drink Pepsi and I was the old lady of the group. I think it was related to my current job somehow.

I dreamed I was near a river and could hear the pleasant water flowing, and was enjoying a picnic on the river side and then heard DH say DA**** and WTH and SOB!!! I opened my eyes and realized that he was messing with a toilet that had let go, and water was running thru the bathroom, down to the basement, and around the room next to the rug. I got up, spun the knob to shut off the water. He mopped up the mess. Guess I am going to the hardware store.

The next time I have a happy dream, I'll hunt down this thread and post it! It's been a while!

I dream a LOT, or at least I remember them a lot. My usual night includes several dreams, or fragments of dreams. Usually they're either scary, sad, upsetting, strange, puzzling (as in, what was THAT about?), or just unremarkable!

I have to be careful what I watch on TV near bedtime, and I can't do caffeine late in the day. Provigil gave me wicked nightmares. Sometimes I wish I couldn't remember them!

Thinking back over the years, I remember a few happy dreams. Once I dreamed that I came into a whole pile of money--the dream didn't tell me if I won it, inherited it, or what, but it was beaucoup de money. I was enjoying surprising people with nice gifts.

Another time I dreamed I was taking care of foals, socializing them and feeding them. That was fun!

And I remember once dreaming I was sitting on a beach relaxing...which is odd, because I don't do beaches--I do shade!

A couple of times I've dreamed dreams where I was happy DURING the dream, but things went south when I woke up and realized they were dreams. Being able to run down the road again, my mom was still alive, etc.

Okay, now I've ruined your whole thread idea, sorry. I hope other people post some happy dreams. In the meantime, I'll think about your rainbows, Marion, when I open my mouth--maybe that will help me consciously tweak my attitude!!

Me to Blessings. In my dreams, I always have MS, but I can walk and am always struggling to get somewhere.

We sometimes do have family get togethers, in my dreams, which are fun....everyones alive and well..

I love it when I dream of family members who have gone home before me. It's always like a surprise visit and I always have fond memories of them the next day. It's a little sad because when I wake up the visit is over......but I look forward to the next time I have a dream like that.

Not too many pleasant dreams...lots of dreams about the family cabin and my inlaws not being happy with me there...also dreams about lakes, and dark places...
I'd rather have a dream like yours...
