Confused my next options plz help!!!

I have recently been diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri bout 4 months ago and im not improving. i have come off all the med that cause the fluid build up and losing weight, but things r getting worse. My vision in my right eye is the worse and dont have periphal vision n right eye. Also my optic nerves are always swollen and i have horrible migranes every night. I cant drive at night, because when the bright lights hit me i get a migrane, and temporary blinded. I have had 3 lumbar puncutres within 2 months and fluid keeps building up. I wonder if these spinal taps r working? I cant keep missing work! So i was wondering if anyone has had the optic nerve decpompression surgery or a shunt and if it worked? i go back to the eye dr tues to discuss my options. but am tired of spinal taps, headaches, and vision loss! someone plz help!
