blue lenses for parkinsons patients

does anyone have current information on the blue lenses that are supposed to help with motor skills for Parkinsons patients?

Seems to me that you would have to go to the UK for an eye exam. Cannot find any info about the lenses here in USA. You would have to find an optholmologist or optician with a colorimeter.

This "recipe" can be applied by any optician that make their own tints...I'm going to get some sunglasses made at Shopko next week!

Tint ~ BPI Blue - 2 bottles to 1 quart water. MUST be freshly mixed! Tint even 2 days old will not work.
Lenses ~ CR39 Plastic- Do not use Hi Index or polycarbonate
Timing~ 2 HOURS #3 Blue 50% light transmission (DARK)


Just as an aside I'm wondering if this recipe would vary with individuals. I held a cobalt blue drinking glass up to my eye and it softened dyskinesia subtly - that sold me!!
also I'm going to wear a blue quartz (man made quartz) necklace ...dyskinesia isn't too much of a problem for me tho.

If there is some variation on specific frequencies that allows a "best match" for each of us then shading from top to bottom might allow an effect where a straight freq selecton would miss it.

I just picked my glasses up and I really like them - they definitely calm the dyskynesia. Shopko couldn't do the gradient tint with plastic lenses but were willing to follow the tint instructions. They had to use blue tablets as they didn't have the liquid dye.

minimalist shoes and blue sunglasses certainly rank high on my list for support !
