Default Hi

I'm a diabetic with PN and they come and go. Do you just have them
in the night. Oh i don't know does rubbing them help,or being a Diabetic
is your tests going ok,do you need to loose weight and have you ever
had your B12 checked. Has your dr. ever reccomened a Neuro. I don't
know my mom had RLS. Me i hoping it's just the weather or you need
to put pillows under your legs. You may need to do stretching exercises,
well i've probably made you go nuts. Sue PS call you Dr. if this
keeps up. darn it.

Hi Sue! Thanks for replying to my post. My leg cramp mainly at night. Both of my legs are like rocks whan they do it and it continues on for most of the night. My legs and ankles get very stiff if I sit for any period of time as well. I do need to lose weight. I have lost 10 pounds. I am still 188 at 5'1. I have had a few issues with my hands going numb and my doc says if it continues he will need to send my to a specialist...I do not know if that is a "Neuro" or not? My sugars are not good. He just upped my metformin to 2 pills in the am and 2 in the pm. We started about 2 months ago at 1/2 in the am and 1/2 in the pm and my sugars were still sitting far too high. I just started the higher dose of metformin two days ago. Could that be what it is? I do not know if he has checked my B12 or not. You have not mAde my go nuts over it...I would rather know and understand what is and what could happen to me. I need to learn to take better care of myself for sure....any info from you or anyone else is so welcome and truly appreciated!! Thanks again, Sue

Lightbulb diabetics lose magnesium

thru the urine. Low magnesium levels then lead to cramping/twitching.

I have a magnesium thread on Vitamin Forum, to help you select a good
form to take. Many people are now magnesium deficient due to poor dietary habits and use of some drugs (like diuretics)

Here is the link:

here is a good link to read also:
