My Mood:
Heart Through many a trial

this song has given me hope and proven so true... i've sung it many a time in church and to myself...to myself as a promise made to me.

Quote:
Joy comes in the morning

VERSE 1
If you've knelt beside the rubble
Of an aching broken heart
When the things you gave your life to
Fell apart
You're not the first to be acquainted
With sorrow grief or pain
But the master promised sunshine
After rain

CHORUS
Hold on my child
Joy comes in the morning
Weeping only last for the night
Hold on my child
Joy comes in the morning
The darkest hour means dawn
Is just in sight

VERSE 2
To invest your seed of trust in God
In mountains you can't move
You have risked your life on things
You can not prove
But to give the things you can not keep
For what you can not lose
Is the way to find the joy
God has for you

REPEAT CHORUS
Hold on my child
Joy comes in the morning
Weeping only last for the night
Hold on my child
Joy comes in the morning
The darkest hour means dawn
Is just in sight

TAG
The darkest hour means dawn
Is just insight

Well I love the Gathiers...Mr.Alffe got me many of their CD's and I blast the neighbors while working in the yard. They not only perform, they write many of the gospels. They are also on PBS channel on Sat nights here.

Thanks KD,
