I refuse to accept,
A life controlled by pain,
Even on my worst days,
My dignity I will retain.

I refuse to accept,
A life over ruled by pain,
Even my weakest moments,
My inner strength I will regain.

I refuse to accept,
A life consumed by pain,
Even on my darkest days,
My positive thoughts will remain!
