Default Utah couple found alive

I'm not sure how far this made the news but a couple became stuck in Southern Utah on January 26th. They stayed with their truck for nine days before they ran out of food and ventured out on foot. After three days of walking in the snow, they were found and taken to the hospital. (Here's a link to the full story.) These two are friends of mine and I am so grateful that they were found alive and well.

As relieved as I am that they are going to be fine, my heart aches for the family of Leroy Davenport (one of the search volunteers) who lost his life while trying to save theirs. Please send prayers to his family.

It is quite an amazing story...some of the things they did to survive they had seen on programs or in movies...like using there seat cusions from their truck for snow shoes...

I think they had some angels watching over them...

Thank you all for your prayers. It's weird to be so happy (that Tamitha and Tom are all right) and sad (that Leroy died) at the same time. I hope his family finds solace in the fact that he lost his life trying to save others. I wish I could have met him.

With the caliber of people they are, I wouldn't be surprised if they did have guardian angels. I used to work with Tamitha and she is a wonderful person. I don't know Tom as well but from the time I've spent with him, he's a good man. I can't imagine what their daughter went through with all of this.
