I had natural red highlights in my hair. In the past couple of years, they have rebelled and have turned white. Didn't really notice it too much until I got my hair chopped. Now thanks to hair dye, you don't see them anymore.

I liked the natural highlights in my hair, so I've only ever streaked it a few times over the years. I don't have too many grays yet, but I decided I needed a 'new attitude' a couple of years ago.

I've done every natural color there is, I think, and I normally dye it every 4 - 6 weeks. Now I go light in the summer (oranges, blonde) and more natural (dark and reds) in the winter. I dye it myself.

I had a hairdresser once who said to me that it was time I started going blonde gracefully.....I think I was about 32 at the time, and I had no grey hairs so I totally ignored him.

I'm a "tad" over that now, and I've been doing just that. The blonde streaks I get put in hide the "natural" blonde streaks that are trying their hardest to peek through.

I guess you either cover it with a darker color, or you start to lighten it gradually so that no-one notices when it's finally totally "blond-ish" :-)

'Tis your call!

I'm naturally blonde but I color my hair a lighter shade. I've noticed that I'm getting white hair right in the front at the hairline (right above my ears). I only notice it when I blowdry my hair - once it's dry you don't notice them. But I KNOW they are there.

It's OK, though. Just a part of aging. There are worse things. . . . . .

I just shave my head, and then no grey hairs. For the women, you should try the same! You can then get some colored duct tape if you dont like that look of baldness.

I found my 1st gray hair the day before my 29th birthday. I'm 34 now and still only have a few gray hairs, I don't plan on coloring my hair. I look VERY young so anything to help me look closer to my age the better.

I love that!!!!

I confess~~ every 6 wks I get the roots colored to cover the gray, then she foils and highlights w/reds-auburns just to give me a lil zing. I wish that ZING would hurry and get here, as I've been waiting a looooong time.

I love my hair appt. It's the one thing I do for ME.

I wear my hair shoulder length and pretty straight, so it's a no fuss do!

My DH passed away at 66 with a full thick head of dark blonde hair. A little gray at the temples. I'm a natural blonde and when my gray roots come forth, no one notices and when I color back to my normal....again, noone notices. I'M INVISIBLE!!!!

Oh, wait a minute.....my Grandson Johnny noticed..I love that Kid..smoooooch.

My hair has changed so many colors naturally every couple of years. Started out w/lots of blonde highlights then mostly brunette. In highschool it decided to have red highlights and stayed that way until the birth of my first child. Then it decided to get really dark brown and has pretty much remained that color. The texture has changed too from straight as a stick to wavy after the fourth child.

The fourth child also brought on the gray. I have a few in the middle of my head at the bang line. They are really noticeable to me because my hair is now so dark.

I do dye my hair now and mostly have kept it a color close to the natural but I do like to go red in the summer sometimes. I always knew I would dye my hair as I never really wanted to go gray unless it was ALL gray.

I was hoping it would be like my mom's hair as it remained brown in the front for years (still brown but w/gray now)and her gray was only in the back of her head. My grandmother always envied her and said it was unusual for the gray to grow that way.
