Default Laugh-In Star D*ck Martin Died

I just read that D i c k Martin passed away yesterday. He was 86 - I had no idea he was that old.

I used to watch Laugh-In and loved his routines with Dan Rowan. I miss shows like that...whatever happened to Ruth Buzzi, Lily Tomlin, JoAnn Worley, Arte Johnson....? I think Goldie Hawn was even on Laugh-In.

Yeah, I read that on the net this morning. That show was a lot of fun and, really, got away with a lot for it's time..

Goldie Hawn was on Laugh-in..

I think that Arte Johnson is still trying to balance on hise tricycle,.., wherever he is now.

I used to laugh so hard when I would see that show.

JoAnne Worley and Ruth Buzzy were my heros on that show. The thought of the old lady with the killer purse still rips me up!

I just learned that D i ck Martin was from a little down an hour from here. Who knew??

I loved the little old lady, too!! That'll be me in my old age!!!

I always liked Edith Ann. I think Lily Tomlin played that character. And that's the truth....pfttttt! Oh, and the switchboard operator!! One ringy dingy.......is this the party to whom I am speaking?? You just don't find comedy like that today.

Yeah, heard that on the radio.

Oh, those were good times! Goldie was the "sock it to me" girl. I still think of the German guy when I hear someone say "velly intellesting."
