The opening night concert, 7 p.m. Nov. 1, will take place at the Paramount Theatre and will feature Joe Grushecky & The Houserockers, Marah, Jesse Malin, Willie Nile and Joe D'Urso.

The second show will begin at noon Nov. 2, at The Stone Pony and will include John Easdale from Dramarama, Boccigalupe and The Badboys, Jobonanno & The Godsons of Soul, Exit 105 and Tom Vella and the Wayside. A separate acoustic stage will spotlight over 15 solo performances by singer/songwriters.

Tickets, $25-$150, are available at Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster Charge By Phone, Ticketmaster Online (www.ticketmaster.com), (www.livenation.com), (www.stoneponyonline.com) and The Stone Pony box office.

This year's concerts will celebrate the 50th birthday of Light of Day founder Bob Benjamin of Highland Park. The concerts will aid the ongoing fight against Parkinson's disease by supporting research into more effective treatments and a cure as well as supporting people who suffer from the degenerative neurological disorder.

The first eight years of Light of Day ventures have raised more than $750,000 for the fight against Parkinson's disease and related illnesses.
