Default TheRealMe....

Good morning and welcome to the forum. I don't know your life's circumstances or what has lead you to twice attempt to end your life...what ever it is that is causing you such pain, please know that we have all felt that way at different times in our lives. I'm so glad you failed in your attempts.

I don't view attempts as either cowardly or brave...I think we are just desperate to end the pain we are feeling and our minds suggest that death is one way to get out of that pain.

Our only son killed himself for reasons only he knew. I now feel that it was an impulsive act...and coming to that conclusion allows me to continue living my life. His choice to kill himself affected so many people who loved him...his family, his fiance', his coworkers, his young son...all of our lives were forever changed. It's something no ones considers when they are in those desperate thoughts.

Please know that we care about what you are feeling and please, pull up a chair and talk to us. (((therealme)))

This is a great group of people to talk to. I hope you feel that you can discuss anything with us. As Miz Curious said, there are no judgements.

I look forward to getting to know you.

I want to welcome you also.
I also attempted to take my own life..
I have good days and some not so good days at times!
I for one and thankfull i didn't succeed.I would have missed out on so many good things that have happened since then.
I have no money and i try to cope with pain everyday-but i am here to help my daughter and son with their lives.
I am here to help my mom/dad when times get rough for them.
When the dark times come about,i try and remind myself of these things...
Because that's why i am still here..
Everyone has something.Sometimes you just have to dig a lil deeper to find out what that something is.Sometimes we need friends to help us see what it is...

This is the best group of people i have ever met online!!!
I sure do hope you come back and let us be your friend....
Sending out{{{big hugs}} 2 you...
This is for alffe
{{{hugs}}}

Everybody has problems. Some we create for ourselves, some others create for us. How we react to those problems is up to the individual. Eleanor Roosevelt stated, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." We must control our reaction to our problems or perceptions. Otherwise, they will own you.
