This is where they filmed the Viet Nam scenes that were in the Forrest Gump movie. The beautiful beach and ocean from the top of the lighthouse. Yes, I conquered my fear of going outside at the top! The mansion I want to buy in beautiful historic Beaufort. (Only $2.5 million.) A stop in the Smokies. Lord they were beautiful! I bonded with a seagul at a pier at the end of the street where we stayed. __________________ The Susan G.
