I am in Frog, I have gained some weight this past year, due to twice or three times on prednisone, and also end of year here not eating well...

plan for 2009, some type of exercise, yoga I think..as it is workout but also relaxing as well. Eating much better and healthier...not eating my work foods...I work at McDs...

hugss and good luck all on goals for 2009..hugsss,sarah

I'm liking this thread.

Moose weighs in at 330lbs.
HEY! I'm 6'4"! So i got a little bit of an excuse.

No. Dinosaurs are big boned. HA!

I've been 330 for better than a year. Gotta be under 300 for the VA to do the hip replacement for me. Then I can unglue my butt from the wheelchair and get on with my life.

Gotta create a NO EXCUSES zone around me.

Or... something.

this is tough for me. and my weight doesn't make me very happy.
i've had a wt problem all my life since about 9. i'm 59 now.

last yr, or was it the yr before? ... i lost 40 lbs. BP and diabetes much better.
then i gained back 20 and that's pretty much been where i am for a long time.
however, i've kept the 20 off. i go up and down 4-5 lbs like a yo, yo.

i just don't seem very committed.
so i don't know how much i'll participate because i already feel like a failure.
it seems no amount of love, encouragement or knowledge about eating will change my behavior.

i KNOW what to do. i've done it before.
sorry to end on such a note but i just don't feel very positive right now.
what a new year party pooper i am.

Can I join you guys?

I started the day after Christmas. I really need to lose some weight. My blood pressure keeps going high and I know it's my weight.

I started at 175 and I'm at 173 now.
I did 5 miles of walking on the treadmill today.
